WHAT ARE YOU?
We are the Mason Dixon Wrestling Association, a web based fantasy
wrestling organization that emulates regionally based "real"
wrestling federations.
WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
Plain and simple, we're having fun.
HOW DO YOU DECIDE RESULTS?
We use the Zeus Pro E-Fed Manager to decide our results. However, we
can "rig" the computer simulator to give one wrestler a bigger
"push" over another, or predetermine the victor. Please see
"How Does It Work" to see how you gain extra "push".
HOW MANY SHOWS DO YOU HAVE?
We currently hold two weekly shows:
YANKEE PRIDE - Tuesdays
REBEL YELL - Saturdays
Shows are usually posted online between 11pm and 12am Eastern.
WHAT ABOUT CHAMPIONS?
These are the titles that Mason Dixon currently recognizes:
WWA North East Heavyweight Champion
WWA North East Cruiserweight Champion
WWA North East Hardcore Champion
Other titles may be introduced when/if needed.
WHO RUNS THIS THING?
There are two people in charge of Mason Dixon:
Jon Denny - The President and the head of it all here in
MDWA. Jon tries to make things as fair as possible, but is known to lay
down an iron fist when needed. He has the power to book any and all types
of matches, at any time.
Kyra Angel - The Vice President and in charge of making the
wrestler's lives miserable. She has the power to book any type of match
she wants, except a WWA North East Heavyweight Championship match.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Role Plays
This is the main thing you do in the MDWA. As in most feds, quality
beats quantity. A short, concise, meaningful role play beats out a long,
drawn out meaningless one any day. However, 1-2 lines won't get you far
here either.
Mic Time
This is something you say on the card, during the show. Although this is
not mandatory, a good role play combined with a good on card role play
will beat out a good role play any day.
Run Ins
In the world of professional wrestling, rarely are matches ever one on one
these days. It seems every one has someone watching their backs. Run ins
are no mandatory, and will not affect your "push" in future
matches.
WHAT ARE YOUR RULES?
- No profanity. Do not even attempt to break this rule.
- No racial or ethnic attacks. The Confederate battle flag is used
here in an historical aspect, not a racial one.
- Two wrestlers per handler. Period.
- Do not use any other wrestler, other than your own, in your role
plays without their permission.
- Do not physically attack anyone in your role plays.
- Stay in character on the role play board.
- Don't attack someone's grammar or spelling on the RP Board.
Basically, don't make it obviously that this is e-wrestling....I've
found it kills the realism and fun.
- Use the OOC Board for any non-MDWA related discussions.
- Never forget that this is all about having fun.
- We use the Zeus Pro E-Fed Manager from Geeksoft to simulate our
matches. Don't like a sim? Then we're not the place for you.
- NO WHINING!!!!!
- Failure to comply with these rules will result in disciplinary
action as necessary.
- The decisions of the MDWA are final.
HOW DO I JOIN?
Right here.
